Civil Engineering Leadership Role
This position plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of energy infrastructure. As a key figure, you will provide expert guidance and oversight across operational sites and project developments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain engineering standards, technical guidelines, and specifications for key civil assets and projects.
* Provide technical input into design reviews, feasibility studies, capital projects, inspections, and performance assessments.
* Support the Management of Change (MOC) process for asset modifications.
* Manage project contractors, OEMs, and consultants' technical work and deliverables.
* Define civil engineering requirements and review deliverables for new energy projects aligned with our Energy Hubs vision.
* Support investigations into plant failures and performance issues, contributing to root cause analysis and resolution strategies.
* Perform risk management activities by identifying, assessing, and implementing effective controls for civil engineering-related risks.
* Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of asset health monitoring and lifecycle integrity strategies.
* Capture and share lessons learned from recent and ongoing projects to drive continuous improvement.
* Identify emerging technologies relevant to civil infrastructure, assess associated risks and opportunities, and support their integration into future projects.
* Lead or contribute to the enhancement of engineering systems, tools, and processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
* Ensure civil engineering activities comply with relevant legal, regulatory, and safety obligations.
* Build strong working relationships with key personnel across Energy Hubs, Transition, Construction, operational sites, and the wider organization to support cross-functional outcomes.
