About the Role
We\'re looking for a highly organised and analytical Production Scheduler & Stock Controller to join our Plastics Moulding Department. In this vital role, you\'ll be responsible for the planning, scheduling, and inventory control of our lower-level plastics moulding activities. If you\'re passionate about optimising production flow and ensuring accurate stock levels, we want to hear from you You\'ll report directly to the Manager Plastics Moulding.
Key Responsibilities
* Create and maintain weekly production schedules using the MATTEC system.
* Perform daily monitoring of production using the Pronto system.
* Plan and manage produced and raw material inventory levels.
* Provide accurate reporting on all moulded and raw material products through effective system-based (MRP) cycle counts and checks.
* Confirm all required components are available at least 24 hours ahead of the production line by liaising with line supervisors and using daily shortage reports.
* Support departmental targets and plans related to safety, quality, cost, delivery, and people.
* Conduct fortnightly/monthly cycle counts of operations inventory.
* Maintain and control component storage areas, ensuring system structure is upheld.
* Organise and manage sub-assembly requirements (e.g., pump assembly, SKD).
What You'll Bring
* Proven industry experience in material planning, logistics, or supply chain, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
* Ability to effectively use different scheduling systems (experience with MATTEC and Pronto is a plus).
* Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
* A good communicator with the ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
* Results-orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against deadlines.
* Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
