Logistics Specialist, Data Center Operations

Responsibilities
As a Logistics Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
* Maintaining inventory levels to ensure that stock items are available to support build and repair activities.
* Receiving parts, checking shipments and issuing parts as needed for internal customers.
* Loading and unloading shipments and transporting parts between different sites.
* Maintaining accurate stock records for all items within our care.
* Maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all workspaces using 5S principles.
About the Role
In this hands-on position, your day will be spent carrying out Logistical support functions for our Data Centers. This will involve physical control and processing of spare parts transactions, consumables stock replenishment, and cycle counting of stock.
The role will require some travel between sites to successfully complete tasks. You may be required to go into the Data Center after hours and over weekends on some occasions.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Basic understanding of inventory control and transportation / truckload operations
* Experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment and using computer-based inventory control systems
* Experience handling sensitive items or stock presentation
* Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
