A high-growth medical technology company is seeking a Head of Digital Transformation and Applications to lead the evolution of its enterprise systems and data platforms. This is a rare opportunity to drive strategy while staying close to the technology in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
About the Role
As the Head of Digital Applications, you will:
1. Own and evolve the strategy and delivery of key systems including ERP (D365), CRM, PLM, CMS, and analytics platforms.
2. Lead and mentor a high-performing team of 7 (BAs, Data Engineers, Architects).
3. Be hands-on with architecture, solution design, data engineering, and integrations — ideal for someone who enjoys staying technically engaged.
4. Deliver modern SaaS and data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS), ensuring data governance and actionable analytics.
5. Manage vendors, licensing, and system lifecycles across hybrid cloud/on-prem environments.
6. Operate within a regulated industry, ensuring compliance with SOX, ISO27001, FDA, and related standards.
About You
You're a well-rounded digital leader who’s worn multiple hats in small to medium-sized organisations — comfortable managing a team while still digging into the detail. You’ll bring:
1. 15+ years across ERP (D365 ideal), CRM, SaaS, and data/analytics platforms.
2. Experience architecting and delivering enterprise applications in dynamic environments.
3. A strong grasp of data engineering and analytics — you can talk pipelines and dashboards with confidence.
4. Leadership experience across small, agile teams (ideally 5–10 people).
5. Familiarity with vendor management and regulated industry compliance.
6. A background in smaller companies where you’ve balanced strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
