The division is being established to identify and develop practical, focussed competition-related reforms to meet contemporary and future economic challenges, recognising the importance of dynamic, innovative, and competitive markets to inclusive and sustainable growth.

As Assistant Secretary, Competition Taskforce Division, you must be able to demonstrate that you have:
- strong leadership skills developed through building and developing high performing and diverse teams.
- well-developed judgement and strategic-thinking skills that enable you to effectively manage high-priority projects simultaneously.
- an ability to develop productive and collaborative relationships with a range of diverse stakeholders and can represent the Treasury and the Australian Government at a range of forums.
The positions are available across the Canberra, Sydney, and Melbourne offices. Applicants at level are preferred, however, higher duties will be considered for high-performing applicants with relevant experience.
