About the opportunity
An opportunity to join a multidisciplinary Community Mental Health Team providing recovery focused care to consumers experiencing mental illness. The chance to be a part of the welcoming, friendly and highly skilled team at the Wyndham Clinic, Hoppers Crossing. We are passionate about providing an accessible high-quality service to the rapid growing, diverse community we serve.
* Full time position available
* 5 days per week hrs
* Some opportunities to do extended hours shifts on Tuesdays and Saturdays and alternating Thursdays
* Providing Case Management support to clients aged 16-65yrs
* Providing quality mental health and discipline specific, client centered assessment and treatment that is evidence based
* Works within a multidisciplinary team and lived experience workforce
ABOUT YOU:
* Qualifications as RPN3, OT 2, SW 2, or P 2
* A current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse; Occupational Therapist; Psychologist and eligible for Social Work Membership Endorsement
* Excellent communication and documentation skills
* Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
* The ability to think critically and problem solve effectively
* Knowledge in different therapeutic techniques
* Knowledge about different referral pathways for clients requiring short- and long-term support
* Be consumer recovery focused care with consumers, inclusive of carers / families
* A good working knowledge of the Victorian Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022 and relevant legislation

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
* A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check
* Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders
