What You Will Do
As a leader, you will balance hands-on technical contribution with strategic team management. Your core mission will be to foster a high-performance environment, drive technical excellence, and deliver on our most important projects.
Area of Responsibility
Technical Leadership
Guide solution design, collaborate with Principal Engineers/Architects, and make final decisions on technical tasks. Drive adoption of high coding standards and a test-driven approach.
Project Delivery
Work closely with Product Managers to assess upcoming work, break down high-level requirements into a deliverable backlog, and ensure appropriate prioritisation of technical tasks and incident management.
Team Management
Lead a team of
3 direct reports
(2 Offshore, 1 Onshore), with clear scope to expand the onshore team in the near future. Your focus will be on mentoring, empowering, and nurturing team members into high-performing engineers.
Process Improvement
Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and team collaboration.
What You Will Bring
Technical Expertise:
* Extensive expertise in
.NET technologies
with a strong emphasis on design and hands-on implementation (preferably 8+ years in software development).
* Strong understanding of modern architectural patterns, including
Event-Driven Architectures
and
Microservices
.
* Proficiency in
Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
principles and best practices.
Leadership & Competencies:
* Proven experience managing an engineering team and/or leading complex projects.
* A
collaborative mindset
with exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of translating technical complexities into business value.
* Demonstrated ability to instill a
high-performance culture
and effectively manage time and priorities within the team.
