Key Responsibilities
The Senior Child Health Nurse will deliver comprehensive trauma-informed and culturally safe Child Health and Development Checks for children aged birth to 5 years. This role will have additional responsibilities of being the senior clinician within the team, including being a clinical escalation point for the team, stakeholder engagement, and supporting initial program implementation phase.
Experience Requirements
1. A minimum of 3 years' experience working with children aged birth to 5 years in health, early childhood or community settings;
2. Experience conducting developmental screenings or health assessments;
3. Experience in using electronic medical records and data management tools;
4. A post-graduate qualification in child and family health (or equivalent).
