The Role: Reporting to the State Sales Manager, you will develop your own Business Plan and Sales Strategy to ensure sales goals and growth objectives are met.
Your key accountabilities will include: Proactively pursuing and converting sales leads across a diverse range of construction projects within your assigned metro and regional territory.
Identifying new business opportunities and expanding sales within the existing customer base.
Attending trade shows, exhibitions and networking events to expand footprint and generate leads Managing assigned Key Accounts and continuously improving customer relationships to capture value-adding opportunities and expand product and service offerings Participating in new product launches and introducing them to market Analysing current market trends, competitor products and market share Monthly sales forecasting and reporting Your Profile: The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar technical sales role within the construction industry and the ability to understand basic engineering principles and interpret construction drawings.
You are a high energy professional, an excellent communicator and are passionate about partnering with your customers to provide exceptional service and build long lasting relationships.
Given the level of autonomy in this role, it is imperative you have strong planning and organisation skills and the ability to multitask and reprioritise when business demands are changed.
You must have experience working with a CRM system and be diligent in logging all sales activity.
