What's the role?
As a Principal Business Analyst Lead, you play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing business analysis practices across the organisation. You lead the development and refinement of methodologies, guide the analysis of complex business requirements, and ensure the quality of key deliverables produced by analysts at all levels. Your expertise supports high-level solution design and architectural discussions, while your insights help influence business strategy and decision-making.
You also foster a strong, inclusive community of practice, championing capability development and training programs that support diverse talent. Through stakeholder engagement, impact analysis, and root cause investigations, you help drive meaningful change and alignment across divisions. Your leadership ensures that business analysis standards are upheld and continuously improved, contributing to a more strategic and collaborative business environment.
What do I need?
* Brings extensive experience in business analysis or related fields, with well over a decade of practice contributing to strategic and complex initiatives, including large-scale transformation projects.
* Demonstrates a strong consulting background, having worked across various industries to deliver tailored solutions that drive operational efficiency, digital and transformation.
* Experience in leading diverse and collaborative teams, promoting inclusive leadership and fostering growth across projects and programs.
* Proven ability to deliver outcomes on high-complexity work, often spanning multiple domains or business areas, including the banking and financial industry.
* Excels in stakeholder engagement, with strong communication and interpersonal skills that support inclusive and effective collaboration.
* Holds valuable certifications, such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Lean Six Sigma – Green Belt, enhancing analytical and process improvement capabilities.
* Advocates for inclusive practices, ensuring diverse perspectives are considered in decision-making, solution design, and business transformation.
