With a national network of wholly owned metropolitan and remote clinics, we deliver Occupational Health, General Practice and integrated medical, paramedical and wellness services to both large and small corporate and community groups.About The RoleWe are currently seeking an Exercise Physiologist or Exercise Scientist to join our team in our Gladstone Clinic, QLD, on a Permanent Full-Time basis, working 38 hours a week.Reporting to the Practice Manager, this position will be responsible for completing health screening, including musculoskeletal and fitness assessments.
There is also a possibility for providing onsite health screening and wellness services.If you are a self-starter who likes to keep busy working in a passionate team environment – then this job is for you.Graduates welcome to apply
DUTIESYour Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited ToTake patient histories and conduct physical examinationsConduct musculoskeletal and fitness testingMedical screening including ECG, spirometry, audiometry, drug and alcohol testingInjury managementDelivery of health and wellness initiativesCommunication and liaison with clientsAdministration dutiesCandidate RequirementsAs the successful candidate, you will have a tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science together with the following:Accreditation with ESSA (Exercise and Sports Science Australia)Current First Aid and CPR certificatesWorking with Children CheckDeveloped computer skills and the ability to write reportsBe comfortable and confident in working with a diverse cross section of our populationHave the ability to establish strong rapport with our clientsWork both autonomously and within the team environment; demonstrating agility and strong time management skillsWHY JOIN US?
