The Role
As the Combat System Support Facility Asset Manager, you will work within the Sustainment function of the Defence APS Product Management Job Family. Your responsibilities include managing and coordinating the development of sustainment strategies and plans to ensure the support and maintenance of submarine support systems.
This involves delivering functional performance, supportability, obsolescence management, reliability, and maintenance requirements. You will operate under broad guidance to undertake complex activities that support Defence assets, adhering to legislation, principles, and procedures aligned with Defence objectives.
You will exercise independence and leadership, exploring innovative support approaches and conducting systematic analysis to inform decisions. You will provide detailed technical and procedural advice on complex sustainment activities, supported by knowledgeable staff and peers.
The role may require work involving defence articles of US origin, and compliance with US ITAR regulations will be necessary, including declaring citizenship or residency status.
About Our Team
You will be part of the Submarine Combat Systems Program within the Naval Shipbuilding & Sustainment Group, responsible for the acquisition and sustainment of Collins Class Submarine Combat Systems.
