Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth, improving operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.


Job Description

Our Assistant Store Managers are responsible for supporting the Store Manager in leading the store team to achieve business objectives. They drive team performance, ensure operational excellence, and maintain full compliance across the store. As a key part of our store leadership team, you are responsible for supporting financial outcomes and creating a positive work culture for our team members.


Key Responsibilities

* Lead by example, balancing day-to-day priorities with long-term growth and development.
* Support Store Managers by driving team performance, ensuring operational excellence, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and maintaining full compliance across the store.


Requirements

* Proven experience leading diverse teams.
* Skilled at balancing priorities, operations demand, and customer expectations.
* Proficient with business tools and technology for managing teams, inventory, and budgets.
* Promotes a safe workplace through leadership and hazard reporting.
* Confident decision-maker with strong operational knowledge.
* Experienced in workforce management systems to optimise team rosters, cost control and compliance.
* Strong in data analysis to monitor sales, forecast trends, and drive strategic decision making.
