The Broome Regional Aboriginal Medical Service ( BRAMS ) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service that has proudly cared for the Broome community for over 45 years. Established in 1978, BRAMS was the first remote Aboriginal Medical Service in WesternAustralia.
Today, we provide comprehensive, culturally safe, and holistic primary health care, social and emotional wellbeing services, and NDIS support to more than 6, 500 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people across the Broomeregion.

About the Role
Due to ongoing growth, we have multiple opportunities for General Practitioners to join our clinical team in Broome, with the flexibility to work on afull-time, part-time, or contractbasis.
At BRAMS, our primary healthcare roles are incredibly diverse, with no two days the same. As part of acollaborative team, you will provide comprehensive healthcare services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients and theirfamilies.

We pride ourselves on delivering quality evidence-based clinical care in aholistic and culturally sensitive way, both in the clinic and through various outreach programs. With GP Registrars of all stages, Aboriginal Health Workers, and Nursing and medical students, we encourage regular teaching, education sessions andtraining.
About You
This role would suit apassionate and dedicated GP interested in having aportfolio-style career, who cares about people, is ateam player, and desires to make adifference, however big orsmall.
You don’t need experience in rural or remote areas or to have worked within an ACCHO to apply for this role. However, you will bring dedication to improving the health outcomes and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanderpeople.
As such, you will possess the followingattributes:
