Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead and manage our end-to-end
procurement and supply chain operations. This role is critical in ensuring cost-effective
sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract negotiations, and timely delivery of
materials to support our construction and installation projects.
Key Responsibilities
● Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives
● Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers
● Manage supplier contracts, pricing agreements, and service-level arrangements
● Oversee inventory planning and demand forecasting
● Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality standards
● Manage logistics, shipping schedules, and customs documentation where required
● Identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks
● Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure timely material supply
● Maintain accurate procurement records and reporting
● Ensure compliance with company policies and Australian procurement regulations
Essential Requirements
● Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
● Minimum 3 years' experience in a procurement or supply chain management role
● Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
● Experience in construction or building materials procurement preferred
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
● High-level communication and stakeholder management abilities
● Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office
● Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Desirable Criteria
● Professional certification (CIPS, MCIPS or equivalent)
● Experience sourcing flooring materials or construction products
● Knowledge of international sourcing and logistics
