Due to extensive growth our client is pursuing dedicated team members with experience in installing and maintaining radio and telecommunications equipment on various hardware. They are an industry leading company looking to fill a position within their team in Perth.
As a Technician you are responsible for executing technical services and maintenance contracts as required by our client and their customers. They are required to provide an outstanding level of customer service that exceeds expectations, fosters strong relationships, and contributes to ongoing business development.
**About the role**:
You will be required to install, maintain, program, and provide technical support for a variety of communications equipment and infrastructure. The successful applicant will have an ability to be self-managed, resourceful, and persistent. As well as have drive, determination, and a logical approach to ensure servicing is conducted in an efficient and safe manner.
**Duties include**:
- Designing, installing, programming, configurating and repairing of radio equipment.
- Working with conventional and trunked 2 way radio systems
- Experience with above mentioned duties
- Certificate III or higher in electronics engineering, RF engineering or related fields of study
- Previous industry experience preferably in both workshop and field maintenance roles
- Wireless, IP networking, PAGA, telephony and microwave experience is highly desirable
- Experience with digital technologies include DMR, P25, Tetra, NXDN as well as conventional analogue
- Hold current high risk licence and have confidence working at heights, with EWPs and climbing tower
