We are seeking a talented Spray Painter to join our team Caravan repair Team in Forest Glen Qld. As a Spray Painter, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to a variety types of caravan surfaces. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work with a dynamic and experienced team in a customer-focused environment.
What you'll be doing
1. Preparing surfaces for painting by sanding, masking and priming mainly with Fibreglass but some aluminium products.
2. Mixing and applying of 2k paint and other finishes using spray painting equipment
3. Ensuring a consistent, high-quality paint finish on all products
4. Maintaining a clean and organised work area
5. Adhering to all health and safety protocols
6. Collaborating with the broader production team to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional customer service
7. Quoting repairs to numerous stake holder mainly internal.
8. Mixing colours to give accurate paint match and blending.
What we're looking for
1. Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent experience in spray painting and minor repairs.
2. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
3. Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in our calm environment
4. Experience using a variety of spray-painting equipment and techniques
5. Knowledge of automotive paint products and finishes
6. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
7. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
