Base pay range
A$650.00/yr - A$700.00/yr
JD: Minimum 12 + years in API & integration space, Strong Java springboot hands-on experience in designing and building the APIs, with AWS cloud -CI/CD knowledge.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the design and development of RESTful APIs, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze technical needs, and translate them into API designs and implementations.
* Architect, build, and maintain API integrations with external systems and services.
* Implement CI/CD practices to automate the deployment of API solutions and ensure seamless integration with AWS DevOps services such as AWS CodePipeline and AWS CodeDeploy.
* Optimize and enhance existing API solutions to improve performance and scalability and cost-efficiency within AWS cloud infrastructure.
* Work closely with frontend and backend developers to ensure seamless integration of APIs with application interfaces.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
Key Requirements:
* Minimum of 12 years of experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
* Proficiency in API design, development, and documentation using industry-standard tools and platforms.
* Strong programming skills in languages such as Java 17/21 version with Spring boot microservices framework Experience with API security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
* In-depth understanding of API testing, versioning, and deployment strategies.
* Knowledge of cloud platforms and technologies, such as AWS
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
