Our client located in Blacktown is looking for an accounts assistant to commence immediately on a casual-ongoing basis, with a track for full-time employment for the right person. This position will focus primarily on Accounts Payable duties, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and supporting the operations team with ad-hoc administrative tasks.
Our client exists within the construction industry; any prior accounts administration experience within this industry will be beneficial.
The Role:
* Process accounts payable invoices and maintain accurate financial records.
* Answer the phone and assist with enquiries as required.
* Assist operations and accounts teams in accounts payable work.
* CRM database entry and maintenance.
* General administrative duties.
* Previous experience and knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Excel experience essential.
* Training for the role will be provided.
About you:
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including confident use of formulas, data entry, sorting, and filtering.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work within a team or autonomously.
* A positive, easy‑going attitude, with excellent people skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication with a high level of attention to detail.
* Administration support experience.
