HMD is a boutique marketing agency working with premium lifestyle brands. We’re looking for a part-time (with opportunity for full-time) Marketing & Social Media Assistant to support content creation, scheduling, and creative execution across multiple client accounts, with a strong focus on Meta platforms.
This is not a basic admin role. You’ll be involved in both execution and creative thinking, contributing to how brands show up across Instagram and Facebook.
In this role, you’ll build and schedule content across Meta platforms, write captions aligned with each brand’s tone, and assist with rolling out fortnightly content calendars. You’ll stay across trends on Instagram, bring fresh content ideas weekly, and support the development of reels, hooks, and content formats designed to perform.
You’ll also assist with campaign ideas and content direction, contributing to brainstorming and planning while developing an understanding of what actually drives engagement and results on Meta. Day-to-day, this includes light Canva work such as templates and layouts, basic video editing like subtitles and formatting, and organising content from shoots.
You’ll be responsible for scheduling content through Meta Business Suite, maintaining consistency across accounts, and supporting light community management where required. There may also be exposure to Meta ads, including campaign setup support, creative testing, and performance-based thinking.
We’re looking for someone with a strong eye for aesthetic and brand direction, who understands what performs on Instagram and Facebook, and stays across trends while knowing what’s actually relevant. You’ll be organised, efficient, proactive, and able to take direction while also bringing your own ideas.
