Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join a leading aged care provider, playing a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of payroll services. This position is critical in supporting the day-to-day payroll operations, interpreting aged care awards/EBAs, and providing excellent service to internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities End-to-end processing of a high-volume aged care payroll (fortnightly) Maintain employee records in line with Award/EBA and legislative requirements Process new starters, terminations, leave, and adjustments Ensure accuracy of superannuation, PAYG, and payroll tax obligations Interpret and apply aged care awards and EBAs with confidence Liaise with internal stakeholders including HR, Finance, and Facility Managers Respond to payroll queries in a timely and professional manner Support process improvement and payroll system optimisation Key Requirements Previous experience within Aged Care as a Payroll Officer (Essential). Strong knowledge of SCHADS Award and aged care EBAs High attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of advanced formulas and data analysis tools. Experience using Humanforce and Employee Connect (Highly regarded, though not essential).
