Associate/ Senior Associate – Employment, Relations & Safety
Montgomery Advisory is pleased to present an exciting opportunity for an Associate Senior Associate to join a market-leading Employment, Relations & Safety team within a top-tier, global law firm.
This highly regarded practice advises an impressive portfolio of blue-chip corporate clients, including major public companies, financial institutions and global organisations. The team is known for delivering strategic, commercially astute advice across complex and high-profile workplace matters.
The Role
Working within a collaborative and high-performing team, you will advise on a broad range of employment and workplace relations matters, including:
* Complex advisory work across the full spectrum of employment law
* Executive employment and incentive arrangements
* Transfer of business advice and related drafting
* Workplace investigations
* Transactional employment matters
* Employment litigation, including representation in the Fair Work Commission and other courts and tribunals
You will play a key role in supporting client relationships, contributing to business development initiatives and mentoring junior lawyers within the team.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
* Solid experience in employment law gained within a reputable private practice environment
* Strong background in complex advisory matters, incentive plans, executive employment and transfer of business
* Experience representing employers in employment disputes before the Fair Work Commission and other courts and tribunals
* Excellent analytical, drafting and communication skills
* Commercial acumen and the ability to provide pragmatic, solutions-focused advice
* A collaborative mindset and commitment to team success
* An interest in contributing to practice growth and client development initiatives
