Senior Medical Officer Opportunity
We are seeking experienced medical professionals to join our emergency department.
The ED is a high-volume facility with annual presentations exceeding 30,000 and a significant paediatric caseload. Rotations are available as either 3, 6 or 12-month periods for the clinical year.
* Deliver high-quality patient care in collaboration with other Senior Medical Officers and Specialists
* Undertake comprehensive assessments and develop effective treatment plans for patients presenting to the Emergency Department
* Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
* Supervise and support junior medical and nursing staff consistent with their level of training and individual learning needs
Key Requirements:
* Ambulance Victoria Registration and Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) accreditation
* Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (ACEM) membership
* Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
* Ongoing professional development to maintain current knowledge and skills
