About the Role
The QLD Operations Manager will take ownership and management of the operational delivery support of Westaway Restorations.
Working closely with other managers and relevant key stakeholders across the Group, this role will be responsible for managing the office-based team and overseeing the performance of the offshore support team.
Core Role

Provide operational support to the General Manager, being a key escalation point for operational and team matters.
Lead and manage the office and field-based teams across multiple branches, including administration, scheduling, claims coordination and offshore support; and provide operational, HR and support to all staff.
Provide leadership and direction in driving business initiatives and performance outcomes across Westaway Restorations.
Client and stakeholder relationship management and liaison.
Responsibilities
Working directly with the General Manager to manage and deliver on key operational priorities.
Oversee daily and monthly performance for office-based teams.
Manage and oversee staff recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, timesheets and payroll processes liaising with Zweck teams as appropriate.
Oversee the coordination of the scheduling and administrative functions for the company, ensuring all technicians are scheduled each day.
Leading and working in collaboration with the offshore team to deliver business requirements, and providing coaching, guidance and support for their development.
Responsible for the creation, execution, and improvement of key operational processes, leveraging best practices and data-driven insights to ensure seamless, efficient workflows.
Conducting internal audits of systems and processes.
Providing on the job training for foundational systems and processes for new staff and ongoing training to all staff on any updated processes.
Providing an ongoing commitment and demonstrated leadership ensuring all activities are conducted in compliance with WHS & Environmental legislation, standards, and Group policies.
Conduct administrative workflow and process audits.
About You
You will have an energetic, people focused and process driven approach with the proven ability to provide exceptional management and guidance, driving the successful delivery of multiple projects.
The successful applicant will possess the below characteristics and attributes:
At least 2 years' experience at a team leader/management level with demonstrated achievements in operational management
Operational background with exposure to the building or restoration sectors preferred.
Experience in system and process improvement and training development.
Experience in scheduling and organising multiple staff across various locations
Proven experience in leading the development of innovative solutions to address both internal and external stakeholder needs.
Highly organised with the ability to mentor and prioritise tasks and manage resources, for optimal quality outcomes and increased efficiency and productivity.
Insurance Restoration/Building & Construction experience highly favorable
