This role has a large focus on Workers’ Compensation claims, but you’ll also have genuine variety across Plaintiff Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVAs), Public Liability and even Medical Negligence if this interests you!
About the Role:
In this unique role, you’ll enjoy a mixed workload on a national scale while working directly with a senior Partner and other senior lawyers. We’re looking for Personal Injury Lawyers with at least 2 years’ Post Admission Experience (PAE) up to Senior Associate level, however, please apply regardless of your seniority as the firm is openminded.
Key responsibilities in this role include the following:
* Provide legal advice to both new and existing clients.
* Manage cases for a partner with minimal supervision while driving matters forward independently when necessary. The support from other seniors is there to get you to excel.
* As necessary, draft correspondence, documents & statements.
* Prepare draft letters of advice.
* Attend to research, including the interpretation of legislation and awards.
* Attend conferences.
* Foster strong working relationships internally and externally with a team-oriented approach.
* Engage in and lead client marketing initiatives, including attending functions and training sessions.
To be successful: You will have a minimum of 2 years PAE in Personal injuries law (a higher level of experience is very welcome) and be experienced in:
* Motor Vehicle Accident claims
* Public Liability claims
* Medical Negligence claims (not essential).
