Production & Wholesale Assistant
ROAME. is a modern, resort-inspired fashion brand defined by elevated design, thoughtful storytelling, and a global mindset. As we continue to grow locally and internationally, we are seeking a proactive and highly organised Merchandise & Product Assistant to support the operational, administrative, and wholesale support across the brand.
This hands-on, all-rounder role is ideal for someone who thrives on variety, takes initiative, and is eager to support and learn skills across multiple areas of the business.
Reporting to the Production & Operations Manager, you will own wholesale orders, stock management, and stockist communication, while supporting product development and day-to-day operations. This role requires a driven, detail-oriented, and collaborative approach within a small, fast-moving team.
The Role
You will work closely with the Production and Planning Manager across product development, garment tech, wholesale logistics, and planning; playing a key role in keeping product moving from concept through to customer.
Key Responsibilities
Wholesale & Logistics
* Work closely with ROAME.'s local and international wholesale agents to coordinate wholesale admin tasks, including:
* Prepare order forms, samples and lookbooks for sales periods
* Fulfill stock on hand orders ad-hoc, and ensure inventory levels on Shopify are adjusted and accurate
* Assisting with logging faulty requests and replacements
* Liaising with and visiting the offsite warehouse for boutique account deliveries, ensuring established delivery windows are met
* Managing the delivery of David Jones and The Iconic through SPS, and following up with couriers where necessary
* Assisting with asset uploads to David Jones & The Iconic, preparing the retailer asset Dropbox folder ahead of each launch.
* Manage bulk shipment logistics including freight bookings, documentation, and tracking
* Review, maintain, manage accurate inventory records on Shopify and Cin7 to support stock accuracy and reporting
* Liaising with the ROAME. Sydney boutique for stock movements and topping up store inventory
* Crosscheck invoices and purchase documentation
Production & Product Development Support
* Assist with production management across all stages, from sampling to bulk
* Liaise with factories and suppliers to track timelines and ensure key deadlines are met
* Prepare and update product specs, measurements, and garment tech documentation
* Help manage sample tracking, approvals, and comments
* Organise fabrics, trims and sampling materials
* Set up and maintain product information documents, such as pricing documents, range overviews etc.
* Contribute to sales analysis and product performance reporting
* Create and order labels, packaging etc in line with production deadlines
General Brand Support
* Prepare and steam samples for showings/fittings/shipments
* Fulfilling any ecommerce customer orders allocated to the head office
* Assisting on photoshoots and relevant marketing initiatives
* Act as a support for customer care and ROAME. boutique staff for general enquiries
* Ad-hoc tasks that provide general brand support to team members
ABOUT YOU
* A self-starter who is solutions-focused
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Flexible and able to balance different tasks effectively
* Confident communicating with suppliers, stockists, and external stakeholders
* Ability to learn systems and processes quickly
KEY SKILLS
* 1–2 years' experience in fashion preferred but not essential (wholesale, garment tech, production or merchandising)
* Strong Excel skills
* Experience with Adobe (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) preferred but not essential
