A leadership role in one of the South Coast's most unique hospitality destinations.

Mimosa Wines is a year round Restaurant, Micro Hotel
and
Wedding Venue
set on a stunning estate just outside Bermagui.

We are now looking for an energetic, versatile
Venue General Manager
to join our small, vibrant team and help lead Mimosa Wines into its next phase of growth.

This is a
hands-on role
for someone who loves variety, thrives in small teams, and wants to be deeply involved in creating exceptional guest experiences.

The Role

Working closely with
Head Chef Matteo Ponti
, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the restaurant while also coordinating weddings, events and on-site guest experiences.

As a small team, this role is very much for an
active manager.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Leading front-of-house operations and elevating the restaurant guest experience
* Delivering refined, memorable dining experiences with a strong focus on
wine pairing
* Managing the bar, wine program and cocktail list
* Coordinating and delivering weddings and private events
* Overseeing guest experience for on-site accommodation guests
* Managing and supporting a dynamic team
* General property oversight — occasionally assisting with landscaping and presentation of the wedding/vineyard estate (3 acres)
* Working collaboratively across restaurant, events and accommodation

About You

You are:

* Versatile with a positive, can-do attitude
* Energetic, adaptable and solutions-focused
* Comfortable leading, but equally happy rolling up your sleeves
* Passionate about hospitality, wine and guest experience
* Excited by a
tree-change
and lifestyle-driven role

You bring:

* Fine dining experience (essential)
* Boutique hotel or experiential hospitality experience (highly regarded)
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Wine knowledge and interest in wine pairing
* Tertiary qualifications in hospitality or management (a plus, not essential)
* Handy skills (bonus)
