Our Organisation has seen unprecedented growth in the last couple of years and has now expanded operations in other States. We are a privately owned Welshpool based company specialising in all aspects of international freight, 3PL, project logistics and warehousing.
Overview
We are looking for a motivated and self-driven person to contribute and add value to the growth of our Warehouse.
Responsibilities
* Have the ability to work well in a small team and lead by example.
* Have the ability to perform all the different associated duties of warehousing.
* Maintaining and using the warehouse management system (WMS).
* Second to none customer service and ability to report to upper management.
* Ability to perform all the different allrounder and ad hoc warehousing related duties.
* Responsible for managing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, labelling, and dispatching goods efficiently and accurately.
* Coordinate inventory management, perform cycle counts, and ensure proper record-keeping of all stock transactions.
* Lead and train warehouse staff, monitor performance, schedule shifts, and maintain team morale.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
* Maintain daily communication with the General Manager on all warehouse operations, demonstrating strong attention to detail and proactively identifying and escalating any operational issues.
Qualifications
* Physically fit
* Current forklift licence with proven experience in loading and unloading as well as experience with high reach forklifts.
* The ability to work autonomously as well as a part of a team.
* Sound experience and knowledge in MS Office and Carton Cloud (preferred).
* Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy
* A safe approach work attitude
* Previous warehousing experience in the Logistics Industry will be highly regarded
