Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and ensure the smooth running of all kitchen operations, including:
* Food and labour costs and controls
* Budgeting and forecasting
* Health and hygiene
* Staff management and recruitment
* Oversee all food production for both the Gallery Cafe and the Members Lounge
* Work with the Executive Chef at AGNSW to develop menus and maintain high food production standards
* Assist in the creation of seasonally changing menus
* Through effective communication and inspirational leadership, maintain and develop a dedicated team
* Drive strategic business decisions for the venue
* Enjoy working in a busy environment with a true passion for cooking
* A keen eye for detail and a positive and proactive approach
* Proven ability to lead by example and foster a creative and organised environment where team members take pride in their work
* Excellent organisational skills with a proven ability to plan for the future
* Motivated, with a drive to challenge yourself daily and deliver the very best
