Western Respiratory & Sleep is a growing, specialist-led respiratory and sleep practice with multiple sites across Perth and the South West. We deliver high-quality, patient-centred care through strong systems, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
We are seeking a proactive, switched-on Medical Receptionist who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow with the practice, not just perform repetitive tasks.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a permanent part-time position, with the opportunity for increased hours as the practice continues to grow.
You will be based primarily in Joondalup, with flexibility to assist at other locations (Highclere and Canning Vale) when required.
This role suits someone who:

Medical reception experience is preferred but not essential.
Strong experience in front-facing customer service is essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Managing phone, email, and online enquiries professionally
* Booking and coordinating patient appointments accurately
* Supporting smooth clinic operations and patient flow
* Working closely with clinicians and administrative staff
* Maintaining a clean, professional front-of-house environment
* Assisting with administrative tasks as required
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* Proven experience in a customer-facing role
* Confidence using computers and learning new software
* Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise
* Calm, professional approach in a busy environment
PREFERRED (BUT NOT ESSENTIAL)
* Previous experience in a medical or allied health practice
* Familiarity with medical booking systems and Medicare processes
