What you will be doing
As part of our Home & Garden Services team, you'll be the reason someone's day feels a little more doable. Whether it's mowing the lawn, trimming hedges, or clearing gutters, you'll help keep homes safe, comfortable, and ready to live in.
You'll head out in a Suncare vehicle (trailer included), either solo or with a teammate, departing from our Maroochydore office daily. You will visit homes around the Sunshine Coast with everything you need on board. Expect tasks like mowing, edging, brush cutting, pruning, weeding, pressure washing, window and gutter cleaning, and reaching those tricky spots—like ceiling fans, high cupboards, and smoke alarms.

You will Thrive in this role if you
* Love getting to know people and building real, lasting connections

* Genuinely care about helping older Australians live life the way they choose
* Have experience in a home and garden maintenance role in aged care, disability support, or the community. Qualifications are great, but heart, know-how, and a willingness to learn matter just as much.
* You know how to plan your day, communicate clearly, and keep things running smoothly.
* You're adaptable – happy working solo or teaming up, depending on the day.
* You're confident using mobile tech to stay connected and get the job done.
* You're comfortable and experienced with a wide range of powered garden tools: mowers, wipper snippers, hedge trimmers, blowers, pressure washers, etc.
* You're comfortable driving with a trailer and know how to handle it safely and smoothly.
* You hold a current Australian Driver's Licence and have experience safely towing and manoeuvring a trailer.
* You have (or are happy to get) First Aid, CPR, and a National Criminal History Check.
