Kinexus are partnering with a world leading defence organisation who are seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to join the team on a full time basis, based in Adelaide.
About the role:
We are looking for an Electronics Technician as an integral member of the team to facilitate the delivery of on-site support services to the Commonwealth focusing on the maintenance of a wide range of communications and radar products.
What will I be doing day to day?
* Provide advice, guidance and knowledge transfer to Army operators and technicians
* Conduct, record, and report maintenance activities
* Conduct heavy grade repairs
* Provide overflow assistance to light and medium grade repairs
* Provide an overflow preventive maintenance capability in accordance with the maintenance programme
* Provide advice on technical publication updates
Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum 5 years of commercial or military experience in maintenance and operation of complex electronic systems
* Experience with working within a technical team in off-site locations
* Experience with system level fault finding for complex systems
* Experience with test equipment required for maintaining complex systems including: oscilloscope, multimeter and spectrum analyser
* Associate Diploma/Trade qualifications in Electronics trade
* Must be an Australian Citizen and hold a current NV1 Defence clearance
