Job Description 
In this diverse role, you will enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day. You will have the support of a strong, close team of driven and energetic healthcare professionals with the backing and resources of a global corporate infrastructure. You will provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of physical and psychological conditions and support them to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes. 
This opportunity as a Rehabilitation Consultant also offers exposure to IPAR’s innovative services, including the pain education program Re-thinking Recovery. This program centers on using virtual reality and modern pain science to help people understand pain and retrain their brain and body. Re-thinking Recovery is used in collaboration with a client’s current healthcare approach and involves engagement with the entire treating team to ensure the service is focused on the client. 
Responsibilities 
- Case management (caseloads are manageable, with support from Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks) 
- Apply clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes 
- Work with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs 
- Collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals 
- Assist those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes 
- Complete a variety of assessments using clinical skills, including initial, workplace and vocational assessments to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, address psychosocial barriers to employment and identify suitable employment opportunities 
Qualifications 
- Qualification in Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy or Osteopathy 
- Full Professional Registration with AHPRA or Full Professional Accreditation with ESSA 
- Strong communication skills to build and develop relationships 
- Excellent time management skills; able to work autonomously as well as in a team 
- Problem solving with initiative and a results-oriented mindset 
- Passion for injury prevention, return to work and associated health benefits 
- Current driver licence and access to own vehicle
