Job Description:
Your role at a leading healthcare organization is to oversee the management of facilities, ensuring they are safe, properly maintained and compliant with relevant statutory regulations and legislation. This includes all maintenance, engineering, contractors, security and facilities management functions as well as responsibility for the management of hospital vehicles and the oversight of routine capital and refurbishment projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the functions of the Facilities Management Department
* Ensure buildings, plant, equipment and grounds are safe and properly maintained
* Develop and manage planned and preventative maintenance (PM) schedules
* Manage Computerised works management system, development and currency of maintenance programs, PM and Repair work order completion, record keeping and timely turnaround on work orders
* Manage maintenance of essential and non-essential equipment and emergency systems
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of state and federal legislation and guidelines relating to environmental management. Exceptional communication skills are essential, including the ability to build strong stakeholder partnerships and maintain reliable professional networks.
