Clinical Lead Role Overview
The Clinical Lead is responsible for overseeing and supporting the clinical operations of a youth mental health service, ensuring safe, effective, and high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversight of clinical decision-making, risk management, and assessment pathways across the service
* Delivery of evidence-based psychological interventions to young people
* Provision of clinical supervision, consultation, and mentoring to multidisciplinary clinicians and students
* Contribution to clinical governance, quality improvement activities, and accreditation processes
* Maintenance of high-quality clinical documentation, reporting, and data entry standards
* BUILDING AND SUSTAINING COLLABORATIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH SCHOOLS, GPs, HEALTH PROVIDERS, AND COMMUNITY ORGANISATIONS
Requirements:
* AHPRA registration as a Psychologist or Occupational Therapist
* AASW Mental Health Social Worker accreditation
* Advanced clinical skills
* Experience providing clinical supervision and clinical leadership within a multidisciplinary team
* Strong understanding of youth mental health, early intervention, and family-inclusive practice
