The company produces and distributes metal building products and associated accessories to the commercial and residential building industries and suppliers. Products include but are not limited to Flashings, Guttering, Wall & Roofing sheets and Structural Purlins. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate heavy vehicles (HR/HC) for the transportation of goods.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate documentation, logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and cargo information.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on the road.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
- Ability to forklift load and unload goods as required, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid HR Driver's License essential, HC is a bonus.
- Previous experience as an HR Driver preferred.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Forklift Ticket.
- Experience with a vehicle load crane not essential, will train.
- Valid work visa or legal work authorisation in Australia required.
