Primary objective

To undertake high volume complex data entry, following mandatory processes to ensure accuracy and appropriate interpretation, quality

assurance and recording of court outcomes, requests for information, warrants, parole and court orders, Births, Deaths and Marriages

Reports, and historical in-custody photographs through a variety of systems and databases.

Context statement

The team operates within Digital Transformation and Reform, and is responsible for processing, recording, maintaining and releasing a

high volume of offender records, as well as providing offender record information to law enforcement agencies, including inter-

jurisdictional police services.

Key duties and responsibilities

1. Provide high quality and timely data recording of court outcomes into police databases, ensuring individual criminal history is available

in accordance with internal and external policies and procedures.

1. Provide accurate information in accordance with legislation, policies, and procedures to requests for information received from

organisations with responsibility for law enforcement or the administration of justice, sourced from several local and national

databases.

1. Effectively communicate with internal and external stake holders around the management of data and information of recorded persons.

2. Interrogate, quality check, record and maintain data and information relating to NT warrants, parole orders and court orders.

3. Receive, cross match, upload and maintain historical in-custody photographs in accordance with internal policies and procedures.

4. Follow defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to

ensure high quality, safe services, and workplaces.

Selection criteria

Essential

1. Demonstrated experience in data entry and analysis while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in a high-

volume environment.

1. A high level of computing skills with the ability to work between multiple systems concurrently.
2. Demonstrated high-level oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact appropriately with internal and external

stakeholders.

4. Ability to work effectively and contribute positively to a team environment whilst working with limited supervision under pressure

meeting critical deadlines while maintaining quality control.

5. Demonstrated adaptability to change and ability to learn new IT systems, legislation, and processes quickly.

1. Demonstrated organisational and time management skills with the capacity to prioritise and work across competing tasks.
2. High level of personal integrity, confidentiality and flexibility including the ability to problem solve and provide solutions.

Desirable

1. Knowledge and understanding of the application of NT legislation, relevant criminal court processes, procedures, and terminology.

2. Experience using SERPRO, IJIS and other mainframe applications.
