Join a small, high-performing team with a passion for creating inspiring play spaces for communities. In this wide-ranging and hands-on role, you’ll contribute to the design of innovative playgrounds while supporting internal sales processes and delivering excellent customer service. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is creative, detail-oriented, and enjoys working across both design and client engagement.
Responsibilities
Design Support
- Prepare initial design concepts for clients, including basic 3D renders and layout plans
- Contribute to engaging, innovative playground projects that promote creativity, inclusivity, and active play
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant safety standards, accessibility guidelines, and budget requirements
- Support the sales and design team with visual presentations, layout adjustments, and technical input
Sales & Customer Support
- Respond to customer enquiries and provide timely quotations and order processing
- Maintain strong client relationships and assist in achieving team sales targets through effective support
- Attend site visits and collaborate with clients to develop customised playground solutions
- Assist with general administrative duties related to sales, maintenance, and project coordination
Background
A background with sales in construction, building supplies, home renovations or landscaping will be looked upon favorably.
Minimum Requirements
- A high level of communication and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe applications
- A genuine interest in child development, outdoor spaces, and user-centred design
- The ability to be meticulous, accurate and analytical
- Demonstrated conceptual design and space planning skills
- Exposure to formal quoting, tender responses and contracts
- A current and valid driver’s licence
Compliance & Additional Requirements
- Obtain a Working with Children card
- Produce or obtain a National Police Clearance
Previous experience with AutoCAD/MicroStation (Bentley) would be advantageous but is not essential.
