As aPlastic Blow Moulder Operator, you'll be at the heart of Brickwood's production line-running advanced blow-moulding equipment to deliver high-quality plastic packaging with consistency, speed, and absolute attention to safety and detail.
Key Responsibilities
Run, fine-tune, and monitor blow moulding machinesto hit top-tier output and quality.
Carry outroutine quality checks-weight, wall thickness, dimensions, visual standards.
Executemachine start-ups, shutdowns, and smooth changeoverslike a pro.
Troubleshoot minor issuesand elevate major to keep production flowing.
Keepaccurate logsof production, downtime, and quality checks.
Loadresins, colourants, and raw materialssafely and efficiently.
Work side-by-side with technicians, leading hands, & operators tosmash daily targets.
Maintain aspotless, safe, and compliant workspacefollowing WHS, HACCP & GMP standards.
Supportpreventative maintenance& routine machine checks.
Assist withpalletising, packing, and materials handlingwhen required.
Skills & Experience Required
Hands-on experience inblow moulding,extrusion blow moulding, orinjection blow moulding.
Solid understanding ofmachine operation, tooling, &mould changeovers.
Sharp eye for detail-strongquality assurancecapabilities.
Basic mechanical problem-solving & ability tofix minor faults fast.
Followproduction schedules& meet KPI expectations.
Reliable communicator & team player with a strong work ethic.
Forklift licenceis a bonus but not essential.
Able to work12-hour rotating shiftswhen required.
Physical & Safety Requirements
Comfortable working on your feet in a high-pace production environment.
Able to lift up to20 kgduring materials handling tasks.
