Job Summary:
As a Trades Assistant, you will provide assistance and support to tradespersons on mechanical repairs and servicing of mobile and fixed plant equipment.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.
* Assist tradespeople in various tasks including diesel fitting, electrical work, and machinery operation.
* Clean machines using high-pressure washes.
* Run parts and supplies between the workplace and workshop.
* Contribute to maximizing equipment availability through efficient maintenance and repair.
* Attend pre-start meetings and toolbox talks as required.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Trades Assistant or Labourer.
* Basic mechanical knowledge.
* A valid Australian manual driver's license.
* A current forklift ticket.
* Current first aid and CPR qualification.
* Ability to work effectively in a team.
* Good communication skills.
