**About Our Client**:
Our client is a food processing company with a small & close-knit team with excellent staff retention across the board.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately and promptly process invoices while maintaining data integrity and precision in payment records.
- Execute weekly payment runs to ensure timely vendor payments and reconcile vendor statements to rectify any discrepancies. Additionally, coordinate the setup of new vendors in the accounting system and continuously monitor vendor information.
- Manage stock maintenance and reconciliation, including planning and ordering site packaging materials to support operational needs.
- Evaluate supplier offerings to ensure optimal pricing, quality, and service levels are maintained.
- Undertake ad hoc administrative tasks and assist with other duties as required to support the smooth operation of the team.
**The Successful Applicant**:
- Proficiency in managing accounts payable and receivable in a medium-volume environment, ideally within manufacturing.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a knack for analysing and handling numerical data effectively.
- Strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities concurrently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, coupled with a polished and professional demeanour.
- Demonstrated adaptability, resilience, and proactive attitude towards change and challenges.
- Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team dynamic.
- A track record of stability in previous roles, particularly within medium to large corporate environments.
- While familiarity with Attache Accounting Software is advantageous, a willingness to learn new systems is essential.
