Reporting to the Rooms Division Manager, we are currently recruiting for a Full Time Porter Team Leader to join our Front Office Team.
Summary
As an overseer of the porter team, the Porter Team Leader focuses on providing heightened and memorable experiences for our guests while working to ensure 100% guest satisfaction throughout all aspects of the guests stay. In this position, you will work to effectively streamline the inner workings of the porterage team through a fast paced, rewarding environment.

As Porter Team Leader, you will:
* Work to develop and lead the concierge team to provide an exceptional guest service experience
* Lead by example and develop a structured onboarding and training experience for porter team members
* Ensure all guest queries, requests and needs are resolved in a timely and proficient manner
* Provide operational support and supervision on shift with the ability to handle all guest queries and complaints effectively
* Pro‑actively maintain up‑to‑date knowledge on all cultural events within the Hotel, Brisbane City and surroundings
Successful Candidates will have:
* Previous hotel experience as a Porter / Concierge or Team Leader
* Hold a current open drivers' license (manual highly regarded)
* Excellent interpersonal skills with guests and colleagues
* High level of grooming and personal presentation
* High level of both written and verbal communication
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, late nights, weekends and public holidays
* Unrestricted working rights in Australia
