* This role involves advising on the safe and appropriate delivery of care and contributing to the development of clinical standards and protocols.
* As a highly experienced clinician, you will work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team and independently to apply clinical expertise in patient-centered consultancy.
The successful incumbent will be able to demonstrate consistent demonstration of behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation with all stakeholders.
You will have a strong understanding of the practice development framework and its application to clinical practice.
This is a permanent position, working full-time at Hawkesbury District Hospital.
The successful candidate will have:
* A current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse/Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
* Minimum five years full time equivalent post registration experience, with at least three years full time equivalent experience in Surgical Orthopaedics.
* Post graduate qualifications in Orthopaedic nursing or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate.
