Vas coordinator (ingleburn)

Role

The primary function of the role is to coordinate client warehouse and transport operations, achieving key service levels around receiving, picking and despatch as well as on time deliveries to our customers, whilst ensuring efficiency and that costs are controlled within the agreed budgets. This role also is responsible for timely and accurate billing and providing basic quotations (cost plus only) to clients. The role plans and coordinates transportation bookings using existing transport providers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate all client relationships, performance, KPI's and costs and work on their permanent improvements
• Work cross functionally across the supply chain to achieve on time availability and with the markets and DC teams to achieve on time in full delivery
• Ensure that new workers are inducted, and trained in any SOPs, Secure Work Procedures, Traffic Management Plan, and Rules relevant to their role
• Participate in health and safety improvement activities, reviews, audits and consultation
• Assist with coordinating our clients' interests in all aspects of quotation, processing; inventory control, inbound scheduling, receiving, order processing, packing, value added services and dispatch
• Balance & meet the expectations of the client, Toll and shareholders.

• Previous experience in despatch or transport coordination is a plus.
