About the Role
As a Business Development Manager, you'll drive sales of Planit's cutting-edge solutions, build strong client relationships, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Based in Melbourne, you'll focus on expanding our local market presence.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive sales growth by securing new clients and delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
* Build and manage a balanced pipeline across technical testing, quality engineering, and digital solutions.
* Create strategic account plans to acquire key targets in Melbourne.
* Meet revenue, margin, and order intake targets with accurate forecasting.
* Respond to tenders and advocate for Planit's value proposition via client engagements and social media.
* Collaborate with delivery teams to support complex projects and foster client advocacy.
* Proven track record in meeting sales targets in IT, solutions, or consultative sales.
* Strong ability to identify and close pipeline opportunities quickly.
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills for engaging senior executives.
* Established network in Melbourne/Vic including public sector contacts (State/Regional government).
* Experience in contract negotiation, pipeline management, and multi-year account planning.
* Team player with a proactive, results-driven mindset.
