The purpose of the Maintenance Scheduler is:
- The development of weekly maintenance plans using the 52-week planning horizon
- Scheduling all planned maintenance activities (including all statutory inspections and operational equipment inspections/ cleaning)
- Meeting time requirements of the business and our customers
- Ensuring all necessary resources (people and equipment) are available and allocated appropriately
- Sustainably improve the operational performance of our Bar Mill
- Monitor and track the schedule compliance, and ensure any incomplete work is rescheduled into the plan

Responsibilities of the role:
- Relationships: Liaising with Operations and Maintenance Team Leaders to create weekly plans, procurement of equipment (ie mobile cranes, EWP's), and job timing
- Reporting: Weekly and monthly on key work management KPI's such as CMMS backlog and schedule compliance
- Work management processes: implimetations, weekly planning and scheduling cycle
- Maintenance: Bar Mill cranes and crane runways, including statutory inspections, condition monitoring and repairs
- Opportunities: Developing, monitoring and improving work management processes
To be successful in this role you will ideally possess:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated problem solving ability and excellent communication skills
- The ability to manage a varied workload and work unsupervised
- A proactive approach to work and all related tasks
- Mechanical background
- Strong commitment to safety
