Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Chemical Development Specialist with expertise in synthetic organic or medicinal chemistry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in process/scale-up chemistry, formulation, and analytical chemistry.
Main Responsibilities:
* Developing and optimizing chemical processes for laboratory to trial/pilot and full-scale batches.
* Conducting research within various projects for national and international clients, encompassing synthetic medicinal chemistry/chemistry.
* Purifying materials to meet required qualities and standards.
* Performing analytical and quality control processes using techniques such as NMR, HPLC, GC, FT-IR, DSC, and other in-house methods.
The successful candidate will hold a tertiary qualification in chemistry (PhD, MSc, or BSc) and possess at least two years of experience in a similar role. Excellent communication skills, ability to follow instructions accurately, time management, organizational skills, flexibility, initiative, and punctuality are also essential.
