The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Superintendent to lead our Maintenance teams across three Mid-West Operations. The successful candidate will ensure the consistent application of maintenance standards, build collaborative relationships with operations customers, and promote a continuous improvement culture.
Responsibilities
* Provide visible leadership to site maintenance teams, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
* Ensure successful delivery against the company work management process.
* Monitor and escalate fleet reliability issues with recommendations for improvement.
* Audit safety, risk, and performance compliance within maintenance teams, including contractor management.
* Coach and develop supervisors to achieve performance and capability targets.
* Monitor and guide site supervisors in the safe execution of the weekly schedule.
* Develop and implement routines for frequent site supervisor reviews.
* Build cross-functional relationships with maintenance customers and suppliers.
* Manage headcount within project budget constraints and monitor budget performance.
* Build 6 –12 month improvement plans.
About You
* Experience in a similar role (Maintenance Mining Environments).
* Australian recognised Trade/and or Engineering Qualification.
* Further Diploma Studies in Business / Finance / Human Resources (Highly Regarded).
* Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or Higher).
* Current S26 Certification.
* Demonstrated leadership, team building and quality management skills, with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
* Strong knowledge of work management processes and production value drivers.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
* Display a clear commitment and focus on the health, safety and well-being of all employees.
* Hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence.
* Willingness to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug / Alcohol Screen.
