SYNOPSIS:
As a senior member of the Publishing team the Managing Editor works across the National Gallery's publishing program, overseeing illustrated non-fiction titles from text submission to print and provides editorial advice across departments. Reporting to the Publishing Manager, the role manages schedules, budgets and contributors, ensuring publications meet high editorial, creative and design standards. Success in this role requires strong project management, clear communication and the ability to coordinate multiple projects in line with strategic priorities. The role is on-going, full-time, requires Australian citizenship and a police check, and sits within the Creative Studio.
This is a full-time ongoing position.
