As an Event Logistics Captain, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating seamless events and creating world-class experiences. Your exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment will make you an invaluable asset to the Events team.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will supervise a team of logistic professionals in event setups, as well as overseeing the smooth execution of various functions.
A few of your responsibilities:
* Coordinating event logistics, inclusive of staff, equipment allocation, and venue preparation
* Liaising with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless event execution
* Proactively identifying and resolving potential issues, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills
* Ensuring adherence to health, safety, and compliance standards
What we are looking for:
* Proven experience in events, logistics and/or hospitality
* A current Forklift Licence, Traffic Control and Pallet Jack experience (advantageous but not required)
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
